How to Print This Page |
-To Navigate the Website-
| When you first access the website, you will be at the public home page of Creek Web. You should "bookmark", or add this page to your favorites. You may wish to place an icon on your desktop that takes you directly to this useful location.
Navigate the website with the menu tabs that appear at the left side of nearly every page. Note the tool tips messages that appear when the cursor is on one of the menu tabs. Menu tabs labeled "manage" appear on various pages. These areas are for administrative use only and are not available to general users. You may return to the home page at any time by double clicking with the left mouse button while the cursor is on the San Pedro Creek logo displayed at the upper left of nearly every page. The "back" menu tabs and back button on your web browsing software (Internet Explorer, Mozilla, etc.) will work as well. The planned public area of the site includes: Governing documents such as the Design Guidelines, CC&Rs, and BylawsWhen you reach an area of the site that is private, a user account ID and entry of a password will be required. This will be required only once per session. Note: Information on this site that is password protected should be considered confidential and may not be shared with anyone outside of the San Pedro Creek community.
The planned private area of the site includes: Board of Directors and Committee Chairs, as well as contact information |
- Password-
| To Get a Password As you navigate the website you will encounter a private area that requires a password. If you do not already have a userID and password, click Request a new user account, and fill out the request form that appears on your screen. Please include the Phase and Lot# of your property in the Additional ID Info space. You should receive your login info by email within one or two days. Once you get your userID and password, follow these directions. Before you log in the first time, click: Change your password
Then:
You will automatically be sent an email confirming the change. |
-Edit Resident Directory -
| To Edit Your Listing in the Resident Directory You control what information is included in your listing in the Resident Directory. You may choose to provide—or not provide—your telephone number and/or email address in the Directory, and you may update your listing at any time. To edit/update your directory entry, click on the Your entry menu tab on the Resident Directory page. Enter the changes you want to make (and ignore the “directory picture” option for now), then click the Save and Return to List button. (Note that you may include and save in your listing the name and birthday of any children in your household. Enter a child’s name in the “Additional Residents” field, and use the Add New Info button to enter additional names. These additional names will appear when a user chooses the “[Detailed Listing]” option at the top of the Directory page.)
For households that have two or more user accounts on Creek Web, only the primary user (first person to request a user account) may edit the household’s listing in the Resident Directory. The primary user name must EXACTLY match the user name entered to obtain a password. For example, “Ed Jones” and “Ed Jones” will work; “Ed Jones” and “Eddie Jones” will not work. |
-To Search Documents-
| To Electronically Search a Document Displayed by Acrobat Reader:
Most of the documents on this website are stored as Adobe PDF files that will automatically run the Adobe Acrobat Reader that is on nearly every computer. Long files such as the CC&Rs and Design Guidelines can be easily searched for word or phrase occurrences (such as “firearms” or “fences”) using that Reader. Search by clicking on the “binocular” icon on the Reader Tool Bar at the top of the text page. Don’t be fooled by looking on the toolbar for your browser that is at the top of the display monitor screen. Icons on the Reader toolbar also allow you to print or save the document as a file on your computer. |
-Site Overview-
| The Homepage is the starting point for the website menu tree. You may return here by selecting a “home” menu tab on any page, or by double clicking the SPCE logo at the upper left of any page.
